Where can I train to give Reiki? Reiki courses and training retreats are held regularly throughout the year. In the UK Level I and Level II courses are held on the Blackdown Hills, just outside Taunton. Mike Hunter also teaches Reiki Level I and Level II retreat courses in the South of France in the peace and tranquility of Château Ventenac, overlooking the magnificent vineyards of the Minervois and the Canal du Midi. The retreat courses in France are held over 2 days/3 nights so that you can reflect on the course or just enjoy the peacefulness of the area and all it has to offer. The cost of these courses includes all accommodation and meals at Château Ventenac. Extra days can be booked if required, so you can fully enjoy this wonderfully tranquil and peaceful region of South West France. If you have a partner or friend that you would like to bring along they would be more than welcome, there is plenty to do. Prices and activities can be found on the Château Ventenac website
In all Level I and Level II Reiki courses a full manual is provided for reference, and Mike is always available on the phone or e-mail to give assistance if required. All students will receive a certificate on completion of the course. Courses Level I and Level II courses cannot be taken at the same time, I recommend about 6 months between the 2 levels so that you can learn to understand the Reiki energy and practice before moving on. UK Further courses are planned for the second week in the Autumn 2010, cost £395 to include all meals and accommodation as shown above. Single rooms are available for a supplement of £25 per night.
